And the fourth one already. This time again a female singer, and again something I haven’t posted before. I discovered つるうちはな (Tsuruu Chihana) a few months ago when a friend told me about her and showed me a live performance of her on some outdoor festival, and I was immediatly hooked.

As promised earlier, a second SotD today. Today a new song by one of my favourite bands. テルコハイメン (Terucohaimen) has been very quiet lately, but earlier this year, all of a sudden a new live-clip of a brand-new song of them appeared online, and boy, I’m back in love with them again.

Indie folk-band tobaccojuice has announced they’re going on an hiatus. Reason behind this are musical differences in the band, which doesn’t promise any good for the future of the band, as all upcoming liveshows in August have been cancelled. Bassist 岡田圭市 (Keiichi Okada) also announced that he will leave the band.

Indie pop-rock band riddim saunter has announced that they will end all activities. They will hold their last live-show on September 3 in Nakano Sunplaza, of which the tickets will go on sale starting August 14. They have one more live on thursday 11 August, together with lo-fi pop-act HARVARD.

Jeepta has announced they are releasing their second album by the end of this year. リードオフマン (Lead-off Man) will be released on 5 October, but further details haven’t been announced yet. This will be their second major album, the first one being 革命エントランス (Kakumei Entrance), released in September last year.
